Design Office
JP3 has its own design office allowing the development of steering systems and of specific pieces on request.
To develop projects in coordination with our clients, we follow many steps:
- Define specifications and possible constraints in collaboration with our customers
- Studying/development steps
- Once this development is well advanced, we send a first estimate to check the budget .
- The client’s order are processed not before validation of the study and the final estimate are received.
- The production plans are established by integrating adapted machining tolerances to precise mechanical assemblies.
Bearing services
This service consists in checking the condition of the bearing components:
- We do the cleaning with soapy water,
- Checking the shape of the internal diameter of the bearing and its anodization,
- Checking general condition of the bearing surface,
- Checking that the plastic parts are not cracked,
- Checking the rollers dimension and their surface conditions,
- A technical report documented by photos is sent after the inspection with an estimate for the work to be done,
- We always change the seals during the bearing service.
The bearings are reassembled and returned to the customers ready to fit.
Anodizing
To ensure optimal protection of aluminium, anodising is uncolor or black 15µ thick. JP3 anodizes the pieces in its workshop at Saint Sauveur d’Aunis.
